Before my visit (which never happened for the following reasons), I read about the rude wait staff, but went there anyway due to the small selection in the town. When asked about a free table, the answer was anything but friendly. At this point I would like to quote: "No, not anymore!" The funny thing: There was a free table right behind me, the shop was still open for an hour and a half and other guests were still choosing their dishes. If only I had listened to the previous reviews. Well-intentioned tip to the waitress: Maybe take some tutoring on friendliness from the Italian restaurant across the street. That's it!

The meat was slightly red from the inside and juicy. Sweet potatoe fries were a welcome change and the portions were precisely good.

Excellent food average high prices typical local, but big flaw but really big! DO NOT NOTIFY YOU BEFORE THAT THE MASTERCARD IS NOT ACCEPTED! I had to go 12km to find an ATM! Put a sign outside I looked for it and there was nothing !!

Looked like a biergarten but turned out to be a more pricey restaurant than expected. The hoped-for bratwurst was unfortunately not on the menu.

We were here for lunch for the second time this year. We would like to positively mention the quick hospitality. Since we only wanted to eat a little something due to the hot temperatures, we found the note on the children's menu "please understand that the meals on the children's menu are only for the little guests" as negative. Due to the heat, you don't necessarily want to order the large portions. A little willingness to compromise would be appropriate. Price / performance ratio for the meals are ok.

We have eaten here twice during our vacation. The food is excellent, great quality, the service is friendly and quick. The prices are a little higher at € 15- € 25 per main course, but absolutely justified for the quality.

Short-term reservation possible. The dog is of course also allowed to come along. Food and service excellent! Highly recommended and gladly again and again!

A very nice restaurant with very competent and friendly staff. Super delicious food (class offered) and drinking at fair prices. Plus the beautiful location. More is not possible.

The food was delicious and sufficient, although my husband would have loved to have a few more spaetzle. The location is beautiful and not far from the Weißensee. Unfortunately, the terrace is in the shade in the afternoon and the through traffic is a bit annoying. Some larger green plants would also make the terrace friendlier. Points are deducted for the espresso with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. The two balls were as small as quail eggs. The price is okay, but you felt somehow deceived. Then it is better to write "a ball" on the card and hand over a normal sized one to the espresso.

One star is too much for the rudeness of the staff, but sadly the option to give zero doesn't exist. We stayed at the Pension above the restaurant and we can only praise the amazing staff that went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant. However, we tried going to the restaurant on 2 different occasions and we're greated with a very rude blonde lady. One evening we went there at 8:30 PM and were rudely told that the kitchen is closed, together with the unecessary eye rolling. We decided to give it another chance the day after and went there a bit earlier, around 7:30 and politely asked in German if the kitchen is open. The rude blonde lady said that "of course the kitchen is open, that's obvious" and when we asked for a table for two, she just said "We're full" and ingoringly turned her head. I don't understand what her problem is, but after reading the other reviews, this seems to be a repeating issue. I was under the impression that Bavarian people were some of the nicest, and we do have only great experiences with others from this area, so it's a shame that a rude lady like this can spoil your experience. Please choose a different spot and don't leave your money to an establishment where you're treated in this manner.

Good German cuisine and decent portions, everything tasted very good and the salad is particularly recommended

We arrived quite late without a reservation and still got a table for 2 people and were warmly welcomed. The food, rump steak (with herb crust, vegetables, sweet potato fries and two dips) and pork fillet (with mushroom cream and spaetzle) was excellent. I would love to come back and order the rump steak again. It was really delicious! The service was very friendly!

A super delicious meal lovingly served to the eye. My wife and I loved it. The inventory was not to our taste, but typical of the region. Price-performance ratio was great. Would love to come back.

Food was good, beer was great, they ran out of bacon so that was a bit disappointing. Waitress took some of the plates away before all of us at the table finished eating. Rude.

Really only recommended. An all-round service. 😉 Delicious food, fast service and nice staff.

Great food in a beautiful village on a mountain lake.

So we loved it! A nice menu with seasonal offers, currently geared towards winter. There's something for everyone! Nice service and a good wine selection. We will be back definitely!
